Iron Maiden is a British heavy metal group that formed in the mid-70's. And they're still going strong. I took my son, who's 13, to go see them last night. To get some culture. I was amazed - lots of old rockers like me, all taking their kids to see real honest rock - grinning at each other and the young goths who are like we were, 25 years ago.....
I never thought I'd ever have the priviledge of seeing them live. Last night, in the middle of the desert, under the light of the three quarter moon, I saw Iron Maiden. And I am happy.

:)) Sounds like a beautiful, magical evening. Glad you enjoyed it. So rare that we have experience such pure moments.
Interestingly Paul Bruce Dickinson, the front man for the band is also an airline pilot, who flies his own big bird.
