I'm an introvert, so I tend to shy away from people - which is probably why I never really tried portrait photography. One of my favourite portrait photographers is Andrzej Dragan. My portraits don't look anything like his.

Wonderful photographer.
I love the way he uses lighting to such great effect to create a mood... usually a dark, brooding tone suggestive of hidden secrets that lie just beneath the surface.
No wonder David Lynch finds them beautiful.
(btw: Mr Lynch is "god" in the humble opinion of this commentator. *grin* What can say... dark and brooding appeals to me in ways I cannot explain.)
